Great web design and usability not only captures attention, but also provides legitimacy and trust. Ensuring a website is not only visually appealing, but also user-friendly, accessible, highly responsive, and has quick loading speeds is now essential in a competitive business world. Do you have what it takes to deliver the essentials of great web design and user experience to ensure online success?
Explore in-demand web application frameworks used across industry and learn how to create and convert design files into HTML and CSS code. Understand key front-end design frameworks and back-end server-side script creation. Gain necessary skills to create one-page applications and load projects to basic web servers for hosting and search engine listing.
In this credential you will:
- design, develop and implement front-end design and back-end functionality
- plan and incorporate content management, hosting and deployment solutions

To be successful in this credential, no prior experience is required, although it would be beneficial to have:
- experience in programming and data intelligence or;
- prior undergraduate or equivalent credit gained for recognised learning.

What should you bring to this credential?
Learning materials will be provided to you through the teaching of this credential and via Canvas, our learning management system. You must bring your own laptop to class.
Where will my learning experience be held?
All courses are delivered face-to-face and in an online virtual classroom. The face-to-face sessions will run twice per week over four weeks. They commence Tuesday 22 June 2021, in the Gallery Room from 5:30pm to 9pm.
