Full course description
Cybersecurity operations could be the one thing standing between your organisation and a cyber-attack. Arm yourself with the knowledge required to identify potential threats and protect your organisation.
Increases in new technologies and the surge of data in almost every industry means cybersecurity plays a huge role in protecting businesses, services and people. Having a dedicated security operations centre (SOC) allows for consistent network monitoring and reduces cybersecurity risk.
What motivates a cyber-attack? How can we identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to ensure networks and operating systems remain secure? Develop knowledge required for an associate-level security analyst within a SOC team and learn techniques and skills to protect organisations from cyber threats, crimes and attacks.
Explore ways to monitor, detect, analyse and respond to security incidents in a cyber domain. Learn the network services, protocols, operations and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities in communications.
